To which Bob replied: Yikes! I'd guess the newbies better start paying up for any info that they don't happen to stumble across or find in the archives. Just publish a book Ted and quit answering questions for free -- we wouldn't want to encourage anyone that this is an inclusive hobby.

Bob: Rule #1 is don't feed the trolls. Anyone that calls himself some generic name and doesn't sign off is a troll by definition. Rule #2 is this list doesn't exist to value folks' bikes for them - eBay and other venues are just fine for that. Ted's point is well-taken, complies with the rules of the list, and I agree with him 100%. And I am unanimous in that.... ;-)
