That heavy a tube-which, BTW, was the heaviest commercially made 531 tube-would only have been used for the down tube. The rest could have been quite light. I have one bike with a .7/1.0 down tube ant the rest very light and even ar my size it's quite satisfactory. Phil Brown In fact I just got back from a ride on it in San Rafael, Calif.
