This image from Kim Klakow. Thanks again, Kim!

This pic must come from the period after 4th September 1976 (World Road Championships) and the end of the 1977 season, since this is the only period when both Kuiper wore Raleigh and De Vlaeminck wore Brooklyn, Kuiper having worn the Rainbow Jersey going into 1976. A classic image... Roger on his lovely blue Gios, Kuiper on his red/black/yellow TI-Raleigh Team Pro. Roger wears the rainbow bands of a former world champion (cyclocross) on his cuffs. Kuiper earned rainbow bands also as a former world road champion.

Note the very low position typical for Roger's brake levers, and the unique bend of his wrists.

There are two riders hidden in the background... can't tell much about wither of them, but look at the lovely wide tan sidewall of that rear tubular just below Roger's hips.
