Subject: [CR]Once again I get by with a little help from my friends

Winter projects are once again piling up on me. A Malvern 5 Star purchased from a CR friend. A Wizard, again, sent to me by a close buddy on the CR list. Tonight I just scored a very rare bike thanks to the expert eye of Karen Rawls and the terrific depth of knowledge of Doug Fattic. Fans of Matt Assenmacher perhaps do not know that when Matt (Matthew) Assenmacher graduated from college in Mt. Pleasant Michigan he had his first frame shop there and built under the name of Matthews Light weight Cycles of Mt. Pleasant. He built there from '73 to '76 and built very few bikes. I have never ran across one before and this one appears to be completely original. I know it perhaps isn't everyone's cup of tea, but the thing just makes my heart race, even though it is obviously of lesser finish quality than his later bikes. Here is a link to the sale page if anyone cares to look at it . http://ebay.com/<blah> http://ebay.com/<blah me=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1> &item=7200564165&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 And thanks to all of you who have helped so much in pursuing all this
madness!
