The Maes bar was listed in 1969 as 15"x5 1/8x31/2. The Tourmalet is given as 151/2" wide and is described as "reinforced". Cost £1. A stem called "metric" is 11cm. the old style spearpoint was 4in. In the sixties I had a nice chrome 531 GB stem that was about 5in. Ray Green, Brighton
