Subject: [CR]re OLD Campagnolo FD body

Hi all, I've been asking to ask this for a while now, I had a old broken Campagnolo NR FD that I bough from an auction, the main body is very much the same as in the one from dales site, link below,

2 questions arrised, where the spring sits against the post on the body, is the slot that it sits in original, I'm thinking it is, but maybe due to wear, and secondly both my posts that the arms sit onto are all alloy, just one big casting, what year would this be from?, my cable stop is broken of, but otherwise my body is ok, so am thinking about cleaning it up and doing something with it, woul make for a light FD, esp if using a 4 hole cage......regards wayne davidson Invers NZ.........
