I just got hooked. "what shops would say" well this shop has ran a Shimano bb with a Campagnolo crank for about 10 years no problem yet. But I have heard you should not do that, the taper starts at a different spot. But, I did not have a Campy Italian threaded bb at the time. If you can build a wheel just find some one to cut a reverse thread on the hub to make it a track hub doesn't ever shop do that.
