If anyone is interested in acquiring a TJ Flying Gate
there is one being offered on ebay:

This is the wonderful modern version of the 1936 W&R
Bianes VS37 or Whirlwind.
These modern Gates were very popular with British time
triallist's in the late 70's and early 80's, they even
sponsored a professional UK/Belgium team TJ
Cycles-Glemp and the great British rider Bob Cary rode
for them.
They also made tandems and tricycles the axle was also
made by Trevor Jarvis. The Gate design works very well
as a tricycle and makes a good stiff tricycle frame.
They are still being made today and unlike a lot of
the modern British makers they have a very good
informative website.

Other equally interesting SWB British classic frames
of a similar design are the Silver Meteor Hackney
London, Waller Kingsbury and Kingsland London, Betrand
Solite Tandem Finchley London.
No connection with ebay seller or TJ Cycles but an
admirer of a British KOF who still manufactures a
design classic.
Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
