next pbp is august/september 2007. ill see you there. i rode in 2003 for the first time, and resolved immediately to ride it every 4 years until i cant. :)

i say 200k to 300k isnt the big jump - if you can ride a 200k in 13.5 hours, you can probably ride a 300k in 18. i found the 400k significantly more difficult than the 300k, and then the 600k was only more difficult because of the time constraint. (half the distance of pbp in less than half the time.

im planning not to beat my 2003 time of 89h17m, but to get more sleep, eating, and sightseeing in during that time :)
