Re: [CR] Windsor Cinelli?

Every large Windsor Pro I've ever seen used a 26.8 post. I thought that was one good way to ID one as being a Windsor? That certainly looks like an early 1970s Windsor frame to me. Another good thing to look at is the seat cluster. The stay ends are slightly different on a Windsor vs. a Cinelli where they radius out at the bottom of the scallop. Given that it takes a 26.8 seat post, that would seem to rule out Windsor as the maker because they used the 27.2 seat post on their Cinelli-esque Pro. Their has been a bit of chatter on both CR and iBOB lists regarding these bikes:
