Hello Brook, She received an innovation to ride The Spenco 500 in November 85. Started well in hot dry conditions when the weather suddenly changed for the worse, very cold and chucking it down with rain. On this ride she had very little in the way of support and more importantly hardly any food. Pulled up after 209 miles but a lot of Pro's had already packed. Ref: Old cutting from an 85 Cycling. Cheers Mick.
