Quote from Peter Kohler

Correct Peter, in 1980. I am in the process of scanning in the build sheets with the specifications on to post for interested parties.

I accompanied Beryl and daughter Denise on World Championships in the 70's, and there were certainly problems. Both were competitors in the true sense of the word and the fact that it was mother and daughter only complicated matters. The guy in the middle was of course poor Charlie who tried to support both of them in their efforts to win medals.

As already mentioned Beryl worked for club mate Nim Carline on his rhubarb farm. Nim was also a great long distance competitor.
