In regard to the Peugeot Freres Coffee Grinder. I use one daily. What I find interesting is that it is held together with - bike parts.

The top and bottom are wood, and the body is metal. This sandwich is held together with 4 short spokes in the corners. On the bottom, you can see the standard bicycle spoke nipples. And I should add it is well made, I have not had to true it after even a thousand cups of coffee.

Too bad it is not a nice stronglight crank that I turn every morning for my coffee.

Also, I don't remember the full details, but there is Peugeot Freres (brothers) and Peugeot Fils (sons). I think the Freres is the older company that made tools and grinders. And the Fils was started to make cars, and bikes. But hopefully someone can chime in with the details, and if they really are just one company.
