Hello listmembers, This is a plea from a friend of mine, Wes, who's indexed 6 speed rear derailleur broke this past weekend..... He know's I'm in contact with many vintage friends and asked if I could help?? Does anyone have a suitable replacement, that is compatible with his indexed 6 speed?? Or some insight to what will work with his setup?? He always rides his old lugged steel Basso,(classic content),and is anguished over changing out to new components...... Thanks for any and all expertise & help, Reply off list please,

John: Indexing is evil. Well, except on tandems. And on ATBs. And perhaps on a few other bikes. OK, maybe on a lot of bikes. But it's still evil! :-) Indexing Campagnolo stuff is OT here, IIRC.
