I have recently been intrigued by the bicycle-motorcycle connection - especially among British manufacturers:

Chater Lea making motorcycle parts. BSA of course. Others?

What came first in the case of Chater Lea - I presume bicycle parts or am I wrong?

What other marques had a bicycle-motorcycle connection?

What about other countries?
