If someone can send me a photo of a box for Galli toe clips that says they're titanium, I'll believe that. Otherwise, I say they're alloy.

Galli was early into the ti bits game (I still have a set of golden Galli Ti brakes, where the centre bolts are ti with alloy fittings, circa 1977-78), but I recall their toe clips from that era were alloy, as were the Christophe Z and also toe clips made by Avocet. Cinelli alloy came later, as did (of course) Campy.

Galli made their stuff in a variety of colours.

These alloy clips all break very easily and are really not worth the hassle. Steel is definitely the material of choice for toe clips.
