Hi All and Holiday Greetings. My shipping story involves a three-part German made ladder, which I bought at a heavily discounted price, and which was shipped directly from the manufacturer's US warehouse in New York State. As part of the deal the cost for shipping was $1.50, yes that is one dollar and fifty cents. Anyway I went ahead and placed the order figuring I would see the ladder in a couple of weeks or more. Two working days later I got a telephone call from a courier service saying they had a package to deliver and were verifying that I would be in, and about an hour later the courier arrived and pulled a 10 foot long cardboard box which weighed about 45 lbs. out of the back, and which contained the ladder. The box had a DHL label. Go figure. Phil Easton, Cambria, California
