Hello Norris, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and many thanks for all the interesting postings throughout the year. I hope the snow doesn't Settle to much in your part of the world. I was up your way last week delivering into Nelson and collecting from just outside Keighley the weather and scenery were wonderful. Just a little about the rider you mentioned. Jean ALAVOINE French Born 01/04/1888 in Roubaix, deceased 18/07/1943. Pro from 1909 to 1925. 29 victories. Second Bordeaux-Paris 1921. Third Bordeaux-Paris 1924.
