Subject: [CR]Frame sizing and geometry

Hey all,

I finally got off my donut eating bum and went for a ride today. I just finished overhauling my 198ish Glen Erickson touring bike that I bought off $-bay a few years ago and thought I would take it for a casual spin in hopes it would be gentle to me.

The seller measured wrong and this frame ended up being about 54.5cm c-c instead of 54cm c-t so it runs a little big. But as soon as I swing my leg over it and ride the frame doesn't seem as big as it measures.

My question is. What is the relationship between seat tube angle and frame sizing? If I normally ride 52cm with a 74 degree Seat tube angle would a bike with a shallower angle require a larger frame?

Just curious. I may be selling this soon anyway to pay for another project.
