Tom, The only Titan stems I have seen are usually stamped Titan and your stem appears to have no markings. In fact it is near identical to one I own which was made by Jimmy Long (ex Bates). These extension parts were readily available from Brown Brothers and many frame builders made the majority of their living from building extensions, Bill Grey (Butlers), Pat Skeats (Hetchins), Stuart Purves (Butlers, Ephgraves & Algurn) and Jimmy Long (Bates). Names in brackets indicate the original firms they are normally associated with. I know it is hard to imagine but this stem making was a nice little earner. Best wishes Mick Butler Hunts. UK.

Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
