Subject: [CR]Under the Chistmas Tree - The Golden Age of Hand Built Bicycles

No NOS first gen-SR group under my tree this year (when will she learn!), but I did get a copy of Jan's wonderful book. Anyone who has any interest in any vehicle on two wheels should do himself or herself a favor and rush out and buy a copy. Let me follow up by saying that my primary interest in vintage bikes is centered on racing bikes form the tail end of the CR era, equipped with Italian parts. It is not very likely that I'll ever own a constructeur bike, but I certainly found this to be a fascinating subject. If all you know of the constructeurs is what you pick up at random on CR, check out the book. It puts it all together very nicely, with beautiful photos.
