I read an earlier posting that stated "Lastly, Frame Saver wasn't available" about a dozen years ago" plus two". It has been common practice in the aircraft industry since the 1930s and maybe the 1920s to inhibit rust in tubing (Cr-Mo) by filing the tubing with linseed oil, sloshing it around, draining the oil, and then plugging the filling hole with a pressed in rivet. I don't know that Frame Saver is composed of but I suspect linseed oil is a lot less expensive. Skip Magnuson, Spokane, WA, USA
