Subject: [CR]One problem with Linseed Oil as a rust preventative.

One occasionally gets a frame that has been treated with Linseed Oil instead of something like Frame Saver. The linseed oil frequently has leaked out, coating the bottom the stays and BB with an unholy tar like mess. I have even bought bikes cheaply because this mess appeared so daunting. Perhaps I shouldn't be giving up my secrets like this, but help is readily at hand, Brothers and Sisters. Automotive Bug And Tar remover will take it off with a little elbow grease and won't hurt your paint, either. Yet another reason to use the Frame Saver product.
