Subject: [CR]frame protection

I just took receipt of a '58 Frejus Professional frameset and I'd like to make sure that it lasts as long as possible. In particular I'd like to know what steps I would need to take in order to stop any rust that may be inside the tubes, and what is the best method of sealing them. I've taken a look down the seat tube and in the bottom bracket and would feel a lot better if I could get the light rusting I'm seeing shut down and sealed. Ordinarily I'd run naval jelly down the seat tube and slather it around the bottom bracket, but I don't know what's the best thing for the chainstays since they're narrow and the jelly is way too thick to be cleared out once I stuff it in there and sling it around.
