Tom: I would recommend eBay as the place to best determine the value of (and sell) that Cinelli. True horror stories on eBay, which are fairly rare, are generally on the buying side of the equation, FWIW. I doubt that you would get much activity from scammers if you wanted to sell your bike on eBay. It's not going to be "high-dollar" enough for them to try for a "big payoff." Thank you all for helping me to identify my Cinelli. The consensus seemed to be that it was made around 1981.

My original intention was to restore my Cinelli, but I have just been presented with a family emergency, and have no alternative but to sell it.

Where would be the best place to find a caring and educated Cinelli enthusiast? I really don't want to sell it on ebay, as I have heard the horror stories.
