i mentioned something about this on the list a week or so back, and ive now got enough of a basic framework that im going to be actively linking it.

basically, im trying for a simple archive of images of bicycles from the lesser-known french marques, focussing primarily on production outside the realm of the straightforward racing bicycle - randonneuse, touring, camping, city bicycles, etc - from the manufacturers in between the larger builders (peugeot, motobecane, lejeune, gitane...) who had a recognizable presence in the us during the bike boom years, and the constructeurs and custom builders outside of the "big two" (herse and singer)

the pages are here:

ive been nicking pics off ebay and web sites for a while, but even there, most of these have been herse and singer - so if youve got something from this range that youd be willing to take pictures of for these pages, id really appreciate it! similarly, if any of the pictures ive used are yours and you would like them to be either credited or removed, please let me know!

im also looking for good clear headbadge shots or, preferably, logo scans from period advertisements for any smaller french makers i can get...

enjoy the infant site!
