You tall guys today aren't the first of long legged galoots to inhabit the earth. I'm only a young punk in doing adaptable things for various size individuals. Going back to Campagnolo's earlier days, I had the machine shop make up a nice post, same diameter as the original Campy. The shop dressed out the internal opening on the Campy, made a snug fit male end about 60 mm. long on the new post and space age glued the new plug / post into the original Campy post The seam where the two posts butted together was almost invisible. Like the walls on Machu Pichu, and other such marvels. The fellow that rode it was about 230# at 6' 4", on a 23" center to top frame, track bike. You might think on what I did, that was before the days of long posts. What Josh says of the Campy Euclid post may be far more viable, depending on diameter needed.
