I'm having a 1975 Raleigh Team Pro refinished and have a question about the chroming of the fork. The 1975 Raleigh catalog displays this bike with a fully chromed fork. However, the bike I purchased only has exposed chrome on the lower halves with the upper halves painted the Raleigh Team red over chrome. Does anyone have any information on this? If I remember correctly, the Teams I've seen had fully chromed forks, although I might well be mistaken. The gentleman from whom I purchased this bike stated that it had been raced by an Argentine team in the '70's. If true, might this explain the different fork chroming? Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, if anyone has some Mavic Monthlery Legere rims (32 hole) they'd like to sell please contact me off-list. One other thing, was the seat binder bolt on 1972 Raleigh Pros a Raleigh or Campy bolt? 8mm or 10mm?
