Many thanks Tom. I always new that the 6 Day model had the indented seat tube peculiar to it but I have only ever seen them with track ends. I use the term track ends because there is no way you can call them track dropouts. A dropout is what it says it is the wheel drops out. They were designed to facilitate the easy removal of the rear wheel. This is why the term was used to differentiate it from the earlier track ends. It caused enough arguments back then with Ching Allin, Davey, Fred Grubb and F.W.Evans all laying claim to the design and name.
