I purchased that late 70's Gios today, and I believe I got a good price for fork and frame in excellent but re-paint needy condition: $125.00 in the popular 56 cm size. Gary Cole, a local, did a paint job that I saw last week which was wonderful (a Raliegh Professional), so he agreed to paint my Gios in Gios blue. He doesn't like vinyl decals and he wants me to locate a set of Gios decals in traditional thin film type. Where do I get them? I have been warned that home made varieties can fade in the sun, and that vinyl gouges instead of blemishing and that some inks react badly to clear coat. For a guy that has never done this before, where do I turn? Also he warns that House of Color makes a good but not exact match in terms of brightness, and that PPG has the brightness in a candy color but not an exact match either. Problems Problems, now for those decals?
