If so, then no shifter braze-ons...

I bought an older Colnago at the Madison Swap Meet that had been poorly repainted, and braze-ons added. I plan on having braze-offs done along with a repaint, but the painter and I can't tell if the shifter bosses were added or original. Some features about the bike: 5 speed rear, chrome only on the fork crown, only a clover on the fork crown- nothing else, clovers in the lugs, Campy long horizontal dropouts without eyelets, no "Colnago" stamped into the chainstays, cable guides brazed to the top of the BB shell...

So, would it be "correct" to remove the shifter braze-ons? Approx what year might this be, and what decal and paint scheme would be correct?

Thanks friends!
