Subject: [CR]Nipple washers

Hi guys,

I've got some old wheels that I'm restoring. They use Conloy rims and Airlite hubs. After much searching, I managed to get 15/16 ga DT spokes to do the rebuild, but as they have no eyelets, they were originally built with washers under the nipples, made from brass, of which approximately half fell to pieces on removal. I'd like to build them with new nipple washers (see http://www.seetool.be/media/image/4210_imagefield01.jpg for a photo of what I mean). Nobody at the LBS understands what I mean when I ask for nipple washers - they have spoke washers and do the blank look when I tell them that's not what I want.

A web search turned up nothing as well - except for the pic on the Sapim website. Does anybody know where I can get them? I want a few hundred, so I can build up my slightly more morern Nisi singles rims as well, and have some to hand for next time.

Regards,

Suzy
