Bradley Woehl asks:

"If you could have one bike part remanufactured from pre 1984 what would = it be?"

Although this topic has come up in past discussions, I would like to = know your choice.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ For me it would be the upper pivot bolt for the Campy Gran Sport and "steel" Record, haven't been able to find one for years. Unless, of course, it would cost more than the price of a beat-up but complete GS or Record (NR is a different part).

My second choice was a skewer for Cinelli Bivalent hubs, but I gave up and had three made last summer (Thanx to Eric Elman for loaning me one to have copied). Freitas has one, I have one, and the third is for sale at a bit less than cost, $75. Else it gets cleaned and used for kebab. :-(
