Subject: [CR]the art of bike making - italian cycling tour

What could be more fun than riding your bike in Italy and learning about framebuilding from some classic framebuilders with 18 other folks including Richard Sachs as a rider/tour guide and companion? Lets not go there.

The tour runs from Aug 4-12 as organized and promoted by Ciclismo Classico. I've always wanted to do a European bike tour, but this is the first time all the "pieces of the puzzle" came together in a way to make me want to part with that many bucks and deal with the logistics of being away from my business for a couple weeks.

The Tour includes rides through the Dolomites and stops at the shops of Pegoretti and Scapin (a day each). Milage typically varies from 40 - 70 miles per day(with long and short options) and includes a number of classic climbs(as many as 4 in a day).

Is there anyone else on the list that will be making this tour?

To find out more, contact info@ciclismoclassico or see their website at http://ciclismoclassico.com http://ciclismoclassico.com/ or call 1-800-866-7314 in Arlington, Ma. Ask about "The Art of Bike Building" tour. I just signed up yesterday. They say that they expect the tour to fill in the next 3-4 weeks. I was #6 of 18 slots.

Maybe I'll see you there?
