I second that motion. I have a mid 80s Nagasawa Keirin frame hanging in my shop, and the cool thing is I only found 1 flaw. The left seatstay attach point's fillet of silver has a small void. Thats IT! Nothing else. I looked it over when I obtained it for 2 solid hours. Each and every joint. Only 1 flaw. If i decide to build it, I will stock it with Dura Ace 10 pitch ( because i actually have some) and bring it to Cirque, should I decide to go.
Don "its much more than art" Walker
snipped: "I am more curious to hear about how this bike ..."
who cares?
i bought this frame to "complete the cycle...".
as noted (in the archives), nagasawa has a muse
quality for me and i followed the frames since the
late 70s. eveything about the "company", i.e., the
man, intrigues me. i had the opportunity to buy a
frame he only makes once or twice each year. i bought
the frame. i wanted it more to "own" than to ride it.
i may never assemble it. if i assemble it, i may
never ride it. either way, i am the steward of it
now, and it pleases me to look at it daily.
