Follow up question: what is the best adhesive for base tape? I have several sets of tubular wheels and a small stack of tires, but I haven't really used them yet for fear of flats killing the "experiment" in the first few rides. I have the patience to find and patch the holes, but the couple times I have tried the base tape doesn't want to stick. I have used contact cement and some kind of latex adhesive so far and the results were not too good.

Thanks again :^)
