Obviously, I didn't see the beautiful composition, because they only published one, composition-free, shot. I just was looking for the highlights or lack thereof, and the ability to make chrome look like chrome, without overpowering the image. I am not saying I can do a better job, but having worked with pros who specialize in motorbikes and bicycles, I have seen what is possible. Even when comparing to motorbikes, bicycles are hard to photograph, because there is so little material and so much air! In the end, it's all a question of illumination - even the best camera can't do anything but capture what it sees.
From the photos, I couldn't tell what was black anodized and what was chrome...
