Greetings everyone!
Haven't had a spare minute lately to keep pace with the list. Very busy now, as always. No time for the computer. BUT. I do need to announce the monthly San Diego Vintage Ride will meet again at "Ye Olde Bicycle Place and Cafe" at 6794 University Ave. in SD. Meet at the usual 9:30am and depart promptly at 10:00am for the ride. Dave Taitano will be having a one year annivesary celebration for his shop there and collectors are invited to bring bikes from their collections to show. I will be bringing something to both ride and show. Maybe some Colnagos or something. Perhaps my recently acquired 1974 Wizard frame will make it out.
We will do a casual ride heading east from the shop and touring the El Cajon Valley and surrounding areas for a 25 to 30 mile ride. Weather should be nice. Plan to hang around a little while after the ride to enjoy the show and other bike lovers as we swap stories and discuss our secret parts stashes. Drink coffee and smoothies, eat food, listen to music. Hope to see all the locals and some of the L.A. and the OC chapters on Sunday.
I will be there early slurping coffee and stuffing doughnuts in my piehole.
