Aye, but they do exist. Jay has one.
If these are the narrow 700c rims that fit 25c clinchers, I have two of them. Unfortunately for Jay, they are the two rims I use on my Raleigh Super Course. The model (IIRC) A-124 Weinmann concave rim was standard on 1977 & 1978 Super Courses and also on Super Grand Prix. I much prefer them to 1-1/4". As I found out today, in a pinch, you can even mount sew-up on them.
