I have to chime in and mention Anthony Mezzatesta. He's in PA now but I met
him years ago when he lived in Poughkeepsie, NY. When he agreed to make my
track bike, http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/2004/g/berman.htm, he told me I
could stop by anytime to check on it's progress. One time I stayed late and
when I went to leave his wife, Cathy, insisted on me staying for dinner. I
sent it back to him this past fall to be refinished, he told it me it would
be like one of his children coming home.
