I've always wondered about a bike that I ALMOST bought about 20 years ago. It had been repainted and had no decals, but was obviously quality and the interesting feature was that the seat lug was tapered to a knife edge on the post opening. The owner said the builder was west-coast, but he didn't know who. I've wondered about it off and on ever since. Any guesses?
