Long about a year ago, Stalwart CR member Wayne Bingham and spouse MJ moved from "inside the (DC) Beltway to way outside. Like next to West Virginia, where nobody used to live. So, Wayne's annual pre-Cirque ride moved, too.

As usual, Wayne's collection, which includes some lovely off-topic machinery, was wonderful, and the attendees brought some nice machinery. Pete Rutledge brought his freshly painted '63 Frejus tracker, and Ken Sanford his 50s Gillot. The other Pete rode a late 60s and to-die-for Cinelli SC in original silver, with (would you believe) a 531 Sticker. Marty Walsh on a later Cinelli. Wayne rode something Landshark which was built last year w/o lugs, but ordered at Cirque so it was ok, right? I rode the Hetchins with proper fenders, and Robert Clair dropped by to visit. We did ride 25 miles, and it was cold, but it only drizzled a little and the winds weren't always in our faces, so it was great. Did I mention that the hospitality was great, too?

Thanks again, W&MJ!
