I have owned a Nishiki Pro for over 20 years. When I worked at an LBS I worked out a trade with the owner and received the frameset. It seems that they got everything right, at least for me. I have thousands upon thousands of miles on it and still would like another one in 58cm c-to-c to restore and rebuild. It is strange that I have over a dozen bicycles and many of the classic Italian steeds and I ride the Nishiki more than all of the others combined. Maybey it is the ride or maybe it is the feeling that my Nishiki is expendable. It has a Stronglight crank, Spidel rear derailleur and Superbe brakes, Campagnolo high-flange hubs and way-too narrow handlebars. These are great framesets and are under rated.
