I suspect that many of us qualify for a slightly less flattering title, at least in the eyes of those who share our "real" lives: BBF (Burned By the Flame). Sometimes I'm reminded of moths who can't get enough of a good thing, only to have it be, ultimately, their undoing. Good thing many have KOPs (Keepers of Perspective).
