Brian,
What's the listing for the BOB list?
I am tired about hearing about this stinking cut off date. This is Dale's show and work and if that's how he wants to play it, fine. I own several old cars. The antique automobile licensing varies from state to state, however with each passing year, one year newer than the cut off becomes eligible for antique status.
I think that it should be the same here. However this is Dale's game therefore we have to either play by Dale's rules or go someplace else.
I will now return you to your regularly scheduled programming...

I seem to have started a storm with my original question about the cutoff date. Because of this I have vowed to discuss anything post 1983 on the BOB list, I was looking for a bottom bracket for my 1996 daily rider and posted on BOB instead of CR and got several replies that helped me find what I was looking for (thanks to Peter White). Is it too much to ask us all to follow this protocol - 1983 and earlier on CR, after that date on BOB?

How much more understandable can I make this? Let's try this:
I will, without taking the time to engage in multiple communications back and forth about it, summarily boot (remove) anyone who posts obviously Off Topic messages.
If you want to post a message and you are unclear about whether or not it is Off Topic, to be safe, ask me first. Or suffer the consequences.
