I had a wonderful day today playing bike mechanic. I am assembling the MONTELATICI which is going to CIRC with me (I think I am getting excited about this) I had planned to use a pair of HF CAMPY wheels but could not get the CORN COB off so I had to dig around for another set. What I found were a set of wheels my DAD built for me back in the 60s....LF with FIAMME reds. It was quite something finding these as I have dragged them around for a long time and never felt I had something special enough for them. Unfortunately the DEL MUNDOs on them were totally petrified so I'll get to glue on my first new sewups in a long time.
Less than 2 weeks to go BOB FREITAS marvelous MILL VALLEY,CA
I will add more pictures of the bike to the wooljersey.com site
