I was managing a bike shop near Talbot's in the early 1970's when Gary brought a sample bike that they had just received over to my shop for me to test ride and give them an opinion (as the local resident frame builder and guru). I test rode it and found the handling very quick .....requiring a lot of attention....what might be called crit geometry. I told Gary to be a bit careful who he sold them to (no newbies). Nice graphics on those bikes!
