Ahoy !
Sedisport bushless chain - more exotica for me, clueless in the Midwest. May I ask, please, for someone to explain this chain?
Does a bushless chain make it easier to hit the golf ball on the links ? (Sorry. Mea Culpa). But geeze, it was as tempting as "Shave and a hair cut" rythmn). Thanks.

Yes, I believe the late 70s Sedisport is more gentle on these freewheels than other chains of the period. The Maillard alloy freewheel (came with hard anodized aluminum body and cogs) didn't come with a steel 13T but you could substitute one from the Maillard steel freewheel if you wanted. Maillard sold nice freewheel kits so you could put together the ratios you needed. Also very easy to work with since all but the smallest cogs were splined.
I never wore out a 13T even though I used mine for the local Tuesday/Thursday Rose Bowl training race for years. The Rose Bowl training race is great fun, 32 miles in length, average time one hour and six minutes (29 mph average) to one hour and 12 minutes (26.5 mph average) and dates to the 1930s.
Back in the day (late 70s - early 1980s?) I read in the cycling press that all the Tour de France teams where issued Maillard freewheels and a large wood box of Sedisport chain in bulk.
