Good Morning all, You have really got me going on the question of the make of ends. The ones I originally saw on a CR posting link where on a green Claud and were definitely his own. Now on the question of Stallard or similar style ends. Have been through the archives and have found the following: 1939 Brown Brothers catalogue Osgear double plate fork end this is the only one in the whole catalogue which bears any resemblance to the CB end but it differs in having two tangs coming down. The Simplex end in this book is nothing like the Butler. 1952 Brown Brothers catalogue there is a Stallard end illustrated which looks something like the CB but this differs in having a semi round cutout directly over the tang hanging down. Also in this catalogue is a Cyclo end which is damn near identical the CB one but this is 15 years later than the original press cutting I supplied. Perhaps someone with better resources can do some research on this and give a concrete answer. Sorry via another email provided hope it gets posted having all sorts of problems with provider. Oil up!
