Wow, I would at least like to thank the group for giving me the
opportunity to remember some of my wonderful early cycling days. My RRA
was my most prized possession from the time I bought it in '74 until it
was absconded in '83. I moved around a lot in those years for work
reasons and the RRA always went with me in the trunk of the car. The
movers never got to touch it.
Thanks

Forgot to send this URL Friday. (A chemical spill was about to be
delivered at work, and I was the only person still around after hours,
so I departed in a bit of a hurry. ).

See the RRA section on Bulgier's catalog site for more detailed pics of
the components. This is the old, original version of Retro-Raleighs, and
these pics are not on Sheldon Brown's version. Yes, seatpost should be
27.2, not 27.0, but you can't always squeeze a 27.2 into those Raleighs.
Probably a couple more typos still in this version of the text, but feel
free to come break my typing finger if they really lead you astray. Or
ask, if something doesn't jive with your particular bike. See the
"Specifications Subject to Change Without Notice" paragraph at the
bottom of the specs page, where I mentioned a few other odd variations I
had seen. Could have been changes made by the respective owners, or the
bike shops, or at the factory. We'll just never know.
In response to Peter Kohler's question about price vs the Competition,
I'll try to find my 73 pricelist.
